The speech President Obama delivered today was the kind of speech Trump has never given. He hasn’t delivered that positive message because he is too angry, too selfish, too self-centered, too greedy, and too hateful of the confines of our Constitution that conflict with his desire and need to be a king, a dictator, an autocrat. There is no empathy, no genuine love or respect for people spoken of in his speeches. He speaks fondly of people only ifbthey pledge loyalty to him, not the country.
LISTEN TO THE WORDS OF BARACK M OBAMA. A REAL PRESIDENT, A REAL MAN, A REAL PERSON OF FAITH, A REAL PERSON WITH COMPASSION AND AN AUTHENTIC PATRIOT:
“That’s why the exhibits here focus not just on policies, but on the shared values that make democracy possible. A belief in the intrinsic dignity and worth of all people, and that no one is above the law or beneath its protection. A belief in checks and balances in our government, and an accountability that comes with it, an independent judiciary, and a robust free press. A belief that our military and law enforcement owe allegiance not to any president or political party, but to the people and our Constitution. A belief in the peaceful transfer of power after the people have spoken in fair and free elections, recognizing that in a large, complicated society like ours, no group or faction gets its way 100% of the time. And a belief that qualities of character – honesty, integrity, kindness, compassion, a sense of duty and honor – those things matter in our public dealings, just as they do in our private lives.
These are the values and traditions I believe in.“
IN CONTRAST, EXCERPTS FROM TRUMP’S ANGRY, MEAN UNINSPIRING
“All of us here today do not want to see our election victory stolen by emboldened radical-left Democrats, which is what they’re doing. And stolen by the fake news media. That’s what they’ve done and what they’re doing. We will never give up, we will never concede. It doesn’t happen. You don’t concede when there’s theft involved.“
“Does anybody believe that Joe had 80 million votes? Does anybody believe that? He had 80 million computer votes. It’s a disgrace. There’s never been anything like that. You could take third-world countries. Just take a look. Take third-world countries. Their elections are more honest than what we’ve been going through in this country. It’s a disgrace. It’s a disgrace.”
“But this year, using the pretext of the China virus and the scam of mail-in ballots, Democrats attempted the most brazen and outrageous election theft, and there’s never been anything like this.“
“We don’t have a free and fair press. Our media is not free, it’s not fair. It suppresses thought, it suppresses speech and it’s become the enemy of the people. It’s the biggest problem we have in this country.“
Trump’s jealousy of Obama is obvious. “Everybody knows it,” as Trump would say. His cruelty towards Obama is also race- driven and shame- driven. The people inspired by Trump have no awareness of or interest in the values Barack Obama was talking about.
HOPEFULLY, ALL AMERICANS WILL HEAR THE CONTRAST BETWEEN THE VISION OF HOPE AND UNITY FOR AMERICA FROM OBAMA AND THE DIVISIVE, HATEFUL VISION OF AMERICA FROM DONALD TRUMP.
