Who knew it would only take a woman’s touch, by a woman who can barely speak English, to broker a ceasefire deal between Ukraine and Russia?
The AP reports:
First lady Melania Trump has brokered an upcoming ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine in the war-ravaged Ukrainian city of Oleshky to allow for humanitarian aid and the evacuation of civilians, the White House announced on Friday.
Senior Adviser to First Lady Melania Trump Marc Beckman told Newsmax all about it.
BECKMAN: Both sides formally recognized her as an intermediary and in writing and they gave her the power to negotiate this ceasefire and she’s been working tirelessly now for over a month to make sure that this occurs as recently as this morning.
I’m coming here, the ink is still wet on the paper, both sides signed the agreements just a few hours ago so you’re the first to know and and it’s all because of the First Lady of the United States of America.
The White House is now taking credit for a localized ceasefire in one area of Ukraine and presenting it like Melania personally negotiated world peace.

I’m sure this deal will hold for a few minutes.
