Sen. Roger Marshall was booed and shamed during a debate in ruby-red rural Hutchinson, Kansas, on September 12. The current Kansas Senator made national headlines over the past week after a New York Times article exposed his shady business practices, such as suing and arresting poor patients over medical bills as low as $100.
To say Kansas voters are not fans of their Trump-loving GOP Senator is an understatement. Kansans don’t like Marshall’s crazy Trumpy policies; voters don’t like the former doctor because he doesn’t even LIVE in the state!
At one point, Marshall’s debate with Democratic candidate Adam Hamilton was disrupted because the crowd chanted, “You don’t live here!”
Kansas voters are definitely not fans of Sen. Marshall’s BFF, President Donald J. Trump.
Raw Story reported:
“During the debate, the crowd kept breaking into chants and boos while Marshall spoke. Marshall entered the debate days after Politico reported that he refiled his official Kansas home address — relisting a one-bedroom cabin near St. John [Kansas] — after being caught listing a house he’d already sold. He keeps a $1.2 million home in Sarasota, Florida, and has charged taxpayers for flights with Florida stops.”
The outlet noted that Marshall claimed that gas prices were higher under former President Joe Biden, and the debate audience was NOT having it.
“Marshall tried to claim, ‘The average cost of gasoline is less under President Trump than it was under Joe Biden,’ but the crowd reacted with an uproarious showering of boos. ‘You can look it up,’ a red-faced Marshall said.”
Could not happen to a nicer guy.
Y’all, please watch as Kansas flips a Senate seat BLUE for the first time in over 100 years.
