Biden’s legacy is at risk. He was supposed to be a transitional, one-term President. He beat Trump in 2020, but put him back in power in 2024 by running for re-election at his advanced age. The legislation he passed helped millions of Americans and made America’s economy the envy of the world again after Trump trashed it. However, now, the assault on the Constitution, decency, and the rule of law is the by product of the country turning away from the Biden era. Ironically. we now have Trump, an incredibly worse version of an old man, one who hates the Constitution, anyone who is non- white, non-Christian, or any strong female with self-esteem.Exactly right! So why hasn’t President Biden used the immunity ruling to obstruct Trump’s 2025 plan to limit the individual freedoms of millions of Americans and his plan to turn our democracy into a dictatorship? WHAT IS KEEPING HIM SO QUIET AND PASSIVE? WHY IS HE LIMITING HIMSELF WHEN THE CURRENT AMERICA SUPPORTS BROAD, ALMOST LIMITLESS POWER FOR A PRESIDENT? TO FIGHT THE IMMORALITY AND LAWLESSNESS OF THE TRUMP AGENDA, WHY WON’T HE CHANGE WITH THE TIMES? LET KAMALA DO IT!Great words, but where is the action? Mitch McConnell was bold and partisan when he got Amy Coney- Barrett confirmed weeks before the end of Obama’s term. Democrats feel Biden has the proper morals and ideology; however, so far, he has done nothing with the broad immunity ruling that has been granted to all presidents. What efforts is he making to reform the Supreme Court? If he squanders his last month in power, he will be culpable for the suffering that Trump’s policies will inflict on American citizens, immigrants, and women.Democrats need to keep the pressure on President Biden to take pre-emptive action to protect humane practices that address illegal immigration issues, to pardon Americans who broke no laws but are being targeted for prosecution by Trump, to protect women’s reproductive rights, and to address the corrupt imbalance of the Supreme Court. Immunity means President Biden can break norms to protect American citizens, immigrants, and the Constitution.
