RetroEscapes, a retro-themed amusement park spanning the 1950s through the 1990s, is set to open its gates, promising rides, attractions, dining, shopping, and entertainment that celebrate five iconic decades.
Visitors can expect a 1950s Elvis diner, a ‘60s Rocket Bar, a ‘70s disco, an ‘80s video game arcade and a ‘90s skate park. The centerpiece, the Fountain of Youth, will host nightly fireworks and laser shows spotlighting American pop culture legends. According to the park’s founders, Daniel Leo Jr. and Sr., the goal is to let guests “relive the eras they love while creating new memories for younger generations.”
Designed by PGAV Destinations — the team behind Disney World’s Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and SeaWorld’s Manta rollercoaster — the park has been in the works for seven years and is generating early excitement for its unusual choice of location. Las Vegas, rather than traditional theme park hubs like California or Florida, was selected to blend nostalgia with the city’s reputation for spectacle.
While an official opening date hasn’t been confirmed, RetroEscapes is already drawing attention for its unique concept and Instagram-ready attractions.
