It seems President Donald Trump is getting so much sleep in his Cabinet meetings that he can’t get a wink at night, leading to some of the most insane, unhinged, paranoid social media posts we’ve ever had the displeasure of reading.
The big guy uncorked a doozy just past midnight this morning, touting an almost month-old column from a Right-wing Washington Post pundit, raging over leaks about his war with Iran and threatening severe consequences for whoever is telling all his dirty secrets to the press.
“Very interesting,” Trump said of the three-week-old opinion column penned by Marc Thiessen, titled “What the disloyal leaks about Iran prove about Trump.”
Trump called it a “must-read” before turning his attention to the leakers themselves.
“Keep on leaking you dirty dogs!” he fumed. “When we find you, you will pay a big price!!!”
Thiessen’s column is just about as unhinged and ridiculous as Trump’s post about it, as the WaPo pundit attempted to publicly spank the “disloyalists” inside Trump World who have grown rightfully concerned over the ongoing war with Iran and dared to speak publicly about it.
“The message of the leakers is clear: Had Trump only listened to us, we would not be in this mess,” Thiessen wrote. “These self-serving leaks actually show the opposite — by demonstrating what a courageous decision Trump made. Virtually alone, surrounded by naysayers, Trump acted to stop Iran from getting a nuclear weapon.”
If he licks Trump’s shiny, lifted shoe any harder, his face is gonna get stuck down there.
