The Republican nominee to become the next senator in Minnesota, Michele Tafoya, claimed that many January 6ers whom Trump pardoned were mere victims of a weaponized government and were treated unfairly.
TAFOYA: And you may now know that he was at the Capitol on January 6th, that January 6th, and so he now will forever be known as a J6er, and it’s like a brand he has on his forehead, and it has ruined his professional life, and only a very small handful of people have stood by him and supported him.
You need to hear his story.
We have been told one side of the narrative, but there are so many stories from the Capitol that day, and his is compelling, and it will break your heart, and hopefully it will have you tap into some level of forgiveness for so many of these people who were so mistreated by our justice system.
There are not two sides of the insurrection.
How were you mistreated after you joined an attack on the US Capitol to overthrow a free and fair election?
Was Michele Tafoya conscious during that fateful day? If you were arrested for being there, you were committing a crime. Period.
